Axeville throwing club

Axe of Kindness

As Asheville residents, our Axeville family feels so fortunate to call this amazing mountain town HOME! And because of that, we want to give back to this beautiful community that supports us as a local small business.

A Big Shout Out to Our Community Partners in Giving:

MANNA Foodbank

We are thankful every day and, because of that, we are supporting MANNA Foodbank this month through our Axe of Kindess. For every can of food brought in and donated at our club between now and 11/24, your name will be entered into a drawing where you have a chance to win 1 hour of Axe Throwing for you and three friends! We will also have a cash donation box on site until November 24 to support MANNA Foodbank’s Thanksgiving meal efforts.

Edith Allen Wildlife Sanctuary

Man and woman making a target out of wood for axe throwing

Located in Canton, EAWS heats their facility entirely by a wood burning system. Axeville is privileged to donate all of the old target wood to this amazing organization!

EAWS Mission:

At EAWS, our primary mission is to take in injured, mistreated, or otherwise unwanted animals, bring them back to good health, and ensure they have the best life possible after coming through our gate. We are a fully USDA licensed facility and are certified by The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission for wildlife rehabilitation.

Animals are deeply impacted by humans every day. Our secondary mission is to educate the public, especially children, about the importance of responsible pet ownership and respecting the wildlife around them.

EAWS fully supports the responsible ownership of all animals. Some animals, even after successful rehabilitation, are not fit for release. Sanctuaries like ours exist to ensure all animals live their lives to the fullest extent.

For more information on these great people and the work they do, check out their website, social media pages and make a donation from their wish list!
